Disturbed Sleep

Disturbed Sleep

A Poem by Inner Rain
"

An Italian Sonnet

"

There is a place, where no girl sleeps
There is no moon, there are no stars
Just the soothing sound of her guitar
Trapping the tune into a tranced sweep
What could have awoken in her so deep?
As she goes, playing from bar to bar
Her tears she collects in a faded jar
As her troubled tune slowly weeps

It is said in the nights where she plays
She sings to the rhyme of the forest leaves
All animals stop, and listen to her rain
On the soft brown earth, where she now lays
Safe from all the robbers, men, and thieves
In disturbed sleep, as she hides her pain

God how dreamy, and gripping this write is,what loveliness ,but so black and sad..
Its a place where no girl sleeps,no moon no stars,Just the soothing sounds of her guitar
Trapping tunes into a tranced sweep,So much awakened in her ,so deep
She goes playing from bar to bar, tears she collects in a faded jar
Her troubled tunes slowly weeps, through the nights where she plays
She sings to the rhyme of forest leaves, all animals holds ,listen to her rains
On soft brown earth she lays, safe from robbers men and thieves
In disturbed sleep ,she all her pains..
God what loveliness, dreamy ,journey into the most black of life
singing sad tunes all nights
lovely write..
