A French Sonnet

I cant help but wonder how you have been
I look up, into the skies of the night
I close my eyes, ere i switch off the light
I can feel my heart beating from within

Now i can hear the swell of sly violin
Its my afflicting tears that i now fight
Hoping and wishing for you with my might
That you'll tenderly take away my grin

My tears now trickle down my face, though I'm trying
I cant help but go on forever crying

Even though you are now, now roaming free
I will not let distance be my defeat
Forever will i keep you within me
Forever, dearly, close to my heart beat
