Domestic Disturbance

Domestic Disturbance

A Poem by Darkened_drear

You enjoyed every hit you gave
The bruises I never could scrub from my ivory flesh
All the bright red I wiped clean
The shame I felt when I hid the truth from everyone else
I was your punching bag
Disgusted by your touch
Scarred by your brutality
Silence my ending
You crushed my dreams and stomped my life to a pulp
The day you went to far you set me free
From your screaming and and all the pain
I thought it was love once but the truth was as battering as you
If I had not been afraid and said something ...anything
Just tried to escape and find help
Then I might still be alive
But you tore my will away from me with your insanity

I am Becky Cooper and Im not perfect. All my flaws show but they do not define me because I have a strong heart and who I am is what makes me myself. My favorite color is black because it drowns out a.. more..
