Natural Orchestra

The way the rain at night eases one to sleep

Soft percussion play for me,
in rain drop rhthmic melody.

Wind and wood in perfect tune,
add haunting base of deep bassoon.

Kettle drums in thunder clap,
as xylophone of branches tap.

The symphony in constant rise,
as tree top baton scores the skies.

Now lilting voice of floral choirs,
waft soft through fields of harps and lyres.

From babbling brook and tumbling stones,
arise the flutes so softly blown.

As leaping salmon jump and splash,
in act of gentle cymbols clash.

The buzz and hum of insects wings,
reverb in unison of strings.

Sweet dreams to all, be here inspired,
enjoy nights song when you are tired.

For Mozart in his finest hour,
ne'r wrote with natures awesome power.

A lullaby to ease us all,
that began so soft in rain drops fall.

Just a way of expressing my pleasure of listening to the rain when I am tired.

OH my god, Shadow. If anything could come close to describing the beauty of nature's sound, this has to be it. There is something about nature that can never fully be described. This happens to fully encompass nature's nature. You really mesmerized me. I felt that I could hear the wind through the fields and the trickling of water over rocks.

Well written piece here and I agree one hundred percent. Nature has a sense for music all of her own. I like heavy metal music, so it transposes that I like a rip snorting thunderstorm as well, the heavy bass of the thunder is so pleasing to me. I am pleased other people find nature's Synphony as pleasing as I do!

I LOVE THIS. And I completely "get it". I am a rain worshipper myself, I love listening to nature, there is just nothing more serene and peaceful to me, even storms give me some sense of crazy inner peace :) The words flowed so perfectly, the images danced so clearly in my mind as I read, this was just amazing!
