You've been the reflection of mine from time to time...

You being away, I couldn't find myself in rhyme...

 

You've been the north star of my ventures...

Stood beside as pillars in my endeavours...

You being away, I find this world full of vultures...

Once a splendid cuisine, my life turned to be out of flavours...

 

Something has kept the roots of the soul alive...

Could be your mere mention that brings smile...

A glimpse of you rejuvenates the life within...

A tone from you enlivens the dead vein..

 

For persons may come and persons may go..

But my feelings for you go on forever..

For hearts could be won by many persons to follow...

But my dear, soul is touched but only once... 

 

It’s immaterial for what happens next if I aboard the journey towards you...

As it would be the finishing destination I would go for...

The voyage of my life would find its harbour...
