Homesick

my island love
a strong proud
chest, sturdy
and steadfast

greet your arms
with smiling eyes
that long to rest
again in your
warm embrace

you are all things
that dwell beneath
my bones, akin to
my island sway

i long to taste
your flesh of
endless summers

hapa haole, my skin
but my heart akin
to ohana, as tears
reaqcuaint with
my pixelated lover.

This is a fantastic poem! I loved the use of some different words. The rhyming and meter were engaging too. My favorite part was "haole, my skin
