Sweet things

Sweet things

A Poem by Island Hippy

let me bloom
in the garden
of your love
where we grow
tangled roots
never to part

we should walk
in the sweet
summer rain
& talk as lovers do
of miraculous
glorious things

i'm singing of
my hearts delight
and it booms
shattering the sky
transcending across
another timeline

pon the grass
lay down with me
hold my hand
and whisper
sweet things.

So happy to hear xo!
This is beautiful! I love the touch of sweet romance in this piece.
Kind of reminded me of the song 'Set fire to the rain'...
Lovely writing, Izzy :)
