Poetry on the Beach

He was sitting on the beach

embracing the warmth of the sun

writing his awe-inspiring poetry

His smooth sun-kissed olive skin

evenly oiled, accentuated his

well defined sculpted body

with a single bead of sweat

trickling slowly down his chest

as his beautiful long dark hair 

danced gently in the breeze

He was a sight to behold

like a photo forever 

etched in my memory

that took my breath away

My shadow blocked his sunlight

and raised his head to look at me

 flashed his gorgeous smile

that made me weak in the knees

I could feels his dark brown eyes

hidden behind his sunglasses

scanning the length of my body

before he stood to greet me

with a soft kiss on my lips

The scent of the coconut oil

and the brine of the ocean

blended an exotic concoction 

permeating through the air

awakened all my senses

We sat on a towel on the sand

he placed his head over my lap

with trails of soft kisses on my belly

and wrote his beautiful poetry

over the length of my body

You transported me from the rainy UK to a sun kissed beach. I can smell the sun tan cream, here the sea, feel the warm sun in my back....only trouble is I'm a voyeur and not the fella in you poem, damn !!!
