I’m not sure when these scars appeared

One day they just became visible

Now I can’t escape them

I’ve put it off for so long

Hiding the pain from myself

Now I can’t escape it

Trembling, useless agony

It makes itself known when it is proven

Now I know the truth

I will wander alone
