The Faery Queen

The Faery Queen

A Poem by J Todd Underhill

"

The faery queen in the forest of light,

Is flitting upon the warm autumn wind.

The ruler of the pixies and the sprite,

Has a charm with which no one can contend.

Delicate, gentle and oh so caring,

The epitome of all that is good.

With the world her love she is sharing,

She, the guardian of the mystic wood.

Almost never seen by the human eye;

For she knows that they cannot understand.

Beings filled with love that will never lie,

Remembered in rumors, nothing first hand.

Overseeing jungles and forests vast,

With her beauty and light that’s unsurpassed.

I've found this one below my aspiring book, the Apprenticeship & the Power of the Eclipse. And I admit, it is quite inspiring. In fact, continue writing more on faeries, pixies, sprites, dwarves, elves and other small people in between. I even read that faeries tend to make circles of mushrooms within forests called "Fairy rings". There's a new challenge to help you carry on with your tiny worlds with great tall tales

Believe It Or Not Believe It Or Not
This is my first attempt at slam poetry, and I'm excited to film a performance of this piece over the coming day.
WHAT AM I?: Nephilim WHAT AM I?: Nephilim
A teen boy gets killed, but trades his soul for another chance. He changes. A girl notices the new boy with silver eyes.

I'm enthralled by pixies and gnomes and all the "little people". Being of Scot-Irish descent I've heard more than my share of stories about them all. I enjoyed this poetic tribute to the fairy queen. Bless.
