A Souls new face

A Souls new face

A Poem by Rose Masen

Come and save this life, I've preserved it so well,
I'm alone and muted closing in on my shell.

I'll lose myself in books and fantasy life,
Knowing this alternate reality's what kept me mentally alive.

So if you dare come and let's leave this place,
Not a care in the world, my soul do erase.

Memories divine and choices unwise,
I've learned a hard lesson a few dozen times.

Make me anew- a brand new psyche,
Oh, what Id give to glimpse a perfected life.

So come what may, let's leave this place,
I've erased and redrawn my souls new face.
