Wish the Want

Wish the Want

A Poem by J.

I shall fight away the dark forces
With whom show no remorse for us
If this means happiness shall find you

My heart cries, heavy my soul aches
With every word you sing quakes
The inner core of me

Such amazement at our similar lives
Defy I do, what this place deprives
Shall I give in

We shall find victory already won
I stand strong, and will only run
To the desire of my life

I could scream this from out of me
Would you quicken to see?
I give thee abundant love

absolutely true poetry, in every sense. what muses render unto the poet,
what poets surrender unto the readers. i am, just taken by the flow and
the stoic punctuation, the finesse is breathtaking, every stanza has a
high point and its answer to the quickening. I loved this poem not only
for its skill but the way your muse overshadows the words divinely, J

This feels like a play on a theme from a larger story. Sounds like it is wrought with conflicting emotions. Nice read.
