Naked

Naked

A Poem by J.
"

When after bearing all a person is, they just give in to something that is not truly fulfilling. Almost like sleeping with the enemy, to numb the pain...due to Fate always standing in the way...

"

Bleeding
I peel away the layers
That have bound me
And gag on every word
Not spoken, I purge
Revealing my scars
Over years beaten down
This vibration has inflicted

Hiding nothing
Limitless amorosity
Through written thought
Yet in plain sight
Invisible

Now I turn to another
To dull the senses of pain
Glutton for punishment
Not so much, but still
Living with deception
Others cannot see
The stench of an enemy
Until it is believed truth

Yet I know
And I am here
Wasted away, over time lost
Without you
Suffering grief, torment
Embraced as a tool
I shall use as fuel

This fire ever burns
And not even you
Can take it away

wow, such a fitting sense of rage and raw poetic passion that envelopes,
this poem is mission-based as the heart can feel the cause, and motive,
and inspiration, the pain, agony, heartache, a tragedy of emotions that
pour over, i love the theme of unspoken words and how it draws the
sense of mystique, this reminds me of the best of love gone bad and
in sch ways the memories have a way of bringing it all back at one time,
you are such an amazing poet, such a salt of talent, yum.

You have a wonderful way with words and imagery. I could read your work all day, rather than write. Your work offers such meaning to life.

I really feel the depth of this write.
What was is no more, just fleeting
