to catch a leaf

to catch a leaf

A Poem by Joyce S. Greene
"

I run to catch a leaf

"

I run

to catch a leaf

it falls so slowly

almost taunting me

is it laughing?

Perhaps there's a modicum of snickering going on here Joyce. Enjoy the chase. Your friend in words, Pete

Great personification of the leaf in this one, Joyce. You have the talent to convey a beautiful image in so few words. I enjoyed this one. Lydi**

The spacing works well with the emotions here. The scene speaks of itself and I love how you question the falling and the taunting of a leaf. The last line made me ponder upon the humor of nature. Interesting. :x
