For You

For You

A Poem by Boris Jonathan Novak
"

When you love someone, you'd go to the greatest of all lengths to show that love.

"
For you, I would steal the stars from the heavens high above,
And set them gently in your palm as a symbol of my love.
For you, I would cross the universe to find you when you're lost.
I'd search through time, endlessly, no matter what the cost.
I would spend a thousand years suffering, if at all it pleased you.
Then give you everything you want with nothing left to tease you.
For you, I would count each grain of sand lying silently on the beach,
And show you there is nothing that could escape beyond my reach.
If words could only show you how deep my feelings run,
I could prove sincerely that you're the only one.
Just to hear your voice always makes my heart skip a beat.
Only you could make me so happy with love so tender and sweet.
