Fall Out

Fall Out

A Poem by Jacob Mann
"

A poem I like to use for spoken word at slams.

"
Please

remain silent

Keep the curtains drawn

For a moment

Sew your lips

With the eyes of another

Castrate your impulses

Feed your mind

Feast

upon the bodies Of fallen Angels

Soak

in the disdain of of b list actors

LET YOURSELF GO!

Call in your inner demons

They won't bite

Hard

Shine your shoes

&

notice

The

Gravel contaminated

Gum of the world

Spit

your digested STD's

In the face of regret

Detach

From  blood stained sheets

Follow

your ghost

Pass away

without

A word of codependence

Seek Sovereignty

In yourself

Peel your face off

and let your teeth

Nihilism is not my thing, but you expressed it very well. One question about the line: In the face if regret. Did you mean it to read "of" instead of "if"?
