I remember when, you said you couldn’t date me...

Said I was too far away,

Never could come out to play...

You said that you’d miss me, late at night

Said you couldn’t be there when I wasn’t alright...

I told you it wouldn’t matter,

That we could get through it.

I guess deep down you secretly knew it.

Cos soon after that we began dating,

We see each other on the odd occasion,

Text during the day,

Phone during the night,

It could of worked much better if we,

lived so much closer

but secretly I think,

distance makes my love for you stronger...

for we treasure our time together

more than most...

A distance is sometimes very useful. It is space between two people where space may be hard to find and where it has been found, has not be named correctly. Nice write!
