Ignorant we sleep

Ignorant we sleep

A Poem by Jake Dyson
"

A poem I wrote on a whim, bit crazy but whatever...

"
Death and destruction
man's only curse,
society's undesirable?
Well here's their purge,
love and construction
leaves you feeling worse,
no one seems understand
except the nurse.

Watching the adverts
wanting to improve,
who makes the choices
for you to prove,

Tainted and abnormal
but better still,
forget all your problems
here's a pill,
Ten years later,
You remember yourself
f**k the norm,
you don't need their wealth
Moneys not everything,
neither are looks
every one judges
but I don't give two f***s,

Fight your neighbour
he's different to you,
Divided they conquer
because you can't see through,

Lies and deceit,
profit and death,
f**k you I weep,
for everyone's asleep,
