The Simplicity Scene

The Simplicity Scene

A Poem by Jake Stance
"

Poetry for Inspirational people, or for broken hearts.

"
Say anything,
Anything to feel alive.
Can You look me in the eyes,
And tell me you're alright?

My mind races
And only you can catch it.
Why can't you figure me out?
Why aren't you trying?

Let me help,
You never let me help.
Why won't you except it?
Was it something I said?

After all this time,
You still pretend to know me.
When will you begin,
To live your own life?

This isn't for you,
And definitely not for me.
This is for you to decide,
And for me to listen.

it's a little hardfor me to understand the whole point but then again writing doesn't always needs one.
I guess in every stanza you wrote your different feeling and in a good way.
hmm yeah good poem..i do need to read once again to totally understand, it's simple but yet complicated.
is this about trying to get into another person's heart and letting them get into yours? well that's what i got from it..
never stop writing
