The Girl That Let You Go

The Girl That Let You Go

A Poem by The Bass Player
"

For Jadey...Oh sweetheart

For Jadey

 Heres a tribute to you,
You, beautiful souled, you.
Slipped away last night,
Headed for the bright light.

A beautiful girl,
With all the troubles in the world.
Even in the darkest times,
You managed to shine bright.

I hope you're up there now
With Annie and Zac
I bet your sitting peacfully,
Looking down on us sillies

You had it good,
And you had it tough.
But never once,
Did you give up

You will be missed
And you were dearly loved
No matter what,
Your memories live on

Forever and a bit

This is a beautiful tribute from what is obviously a kindly soul. From what little I knew of her, I could see why she would be drawn to you.

"If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God which had been shown! But every night come out these envoys of beauty, and light the universe with their admonishing smile."
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
