Back to Center

Dampened by his own self impairment
Hobbled off the hollow man
Sense of familiarity the way back is exigent
But cant find the way through an artificial land

His face shows no sign of indecision
Serenity and composure is his destination
Falsely directed by a malignant creation
He makes his way without hesitation

Come to me, you’ve wandered again
Toppled over the fault line
Disconnected, now dissonant
Find your way so we can mend

Adrift is the one conquered by self
Rolling over him, Asclepius’ tide
Staggering along his path of resolve
Arrives at the place he hoped to find

I’ve been here before how could I forget
The feeling of solace I’ve been fighting to get
Ill probably wander off unconscious again
I’m soothed by this warmth from now until then

Back to me, don’t leave again
Reconstructed the fault line
Reconnected, not dissonant
Found your way now we can mend
