Ach Crivens!

Ach Crivens!

A Poem by Jimmy Greenie
"

Warning! may be upsetting to Scottish

"

I'm walking doon the street,
Back hoome at last,
I've bin awa' at sea,
and noo sey much has changed.

Ach Crivens I've bin awa' far too long!
Ooh mah boonie is deed!
Boonie Prince Charlie is loong deed and gone
And Scootland belongs to the Brits

Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens laddie!

Won't ye tell me what happened,
how sey much could change,
Ach crivens Ach crivens laddie

I lived in Scootland long agay,
Then i went to sea
I went to the new land across the sea
And ther I lived a long time!

Ach crivens I 've bin awa' far too loong,
Ooh my boonie is deed!
Boonie Prince Charlie is loong deed and gone
And scootland belongs to the Brits

Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens laddie!

Won't ye tell me what happened,
how sey much could change,
Ach crivens Ach crivens laddie

Noo I'm back,
And by gum a lot has changed
Scootland has goone forever
It's all Britain noo

Ach crivens I 've bin awa' far too loong,
Ooh my boonie is deed!
Boonie Prince Charlie is loong deed and gone
And scootland belongs to the Brits

Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens laddie!

Won't ye tell me what happened,
how sey much could change,
Ach crivens Ach crivens laddie

I recall the time when scootland was it's own,
Noo ita ll belongs to the Brits
And believe me this
It's a whole lot better!

Ach crivens I 've bin awa' far too loong,
Ooh my boonie is deed!
Boonie Prince Charlie is loong deed and gone
And scootland belongs to the Brits

Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens Ach Crivens laddie!

Won't ye tell me what happened,
how sey much could change,
Ach crivens Ach crivens laddie

Whoooo the'r laddie, joost readin' this I laughed, 'cause it seems as thoo a good ol' scootish accent can nay be captured by a kay board.
Eeoo see what I mean, laddie buck? I woodn't say this would offend a scootish persoon if'n ye were scootish. Ere ye scootish, laddie?
Anywhey, interestin' tale me'lad,

Haha, that's awesome. I love the accent, it's something I don't see much. Funny. Nice story in this poem.

A wonderful job. In my next book I write hillbilly and redneck. My word program hates that.

I think the way that it flowed went perfectly, you could hear the Scottish lilt in the words and the story was pretty good. Good work.
