This Lonely World

This Lonely World

A Poem by HopingStrong
"

About moving forward even though it feels like it's pointless. Done in a negative light.

"
As my breath becomes the wind
I let the rocky shore know my presence
My efforts are the crashing waves
My walking's broken all I'm left with
Betrayal ended life's existence
A meteor scarring this earth barren
But still I walk, still it crumbles
Need becomes a wish to bare it

I may make a part 2 with more of a positive outlook. This was just the way I was feeling at this moment.

I rarely see negative insights or views portrayed in such a beautiful, respectful, and skillful way. This is an amazing piece. Great job

Highly charged with passion, i can feel the sense of loss and being betrayed by life, its a poem that turns the negative into a positive because you used that negativity to create this positive work, well done :)

Awesome piece... I love the negative view on this piece. I always say there is more than one view, one interpretation of everything in this world. I love the way you portrayed this piece in a dark, negative light. Good work my friend!

I liked the poem. The use of the sea made the emotions come alive. You create place and situation.

Life does lead us to dead-ends. Like the ending. We must go forward. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

After things fall apart the best revenge is to dust one's self off; find meaning and live well again
