I have long thought on this idea and cannot understand it. However if I were the creator I would not permit it . No good man wants to be feared. Followed maybe admired maybe But never feared. The same would be true of Love. One cannot demand love or take it by threat of Hell or promise of Heaven .Love in and of itself can only be given freely never taken. However I do think the Lord would rather we loved one another.That said I respect your beliefs. You are certainly a fine decent man. And my friend.
Love is the only trait that is worth remembering because it is meant to be given away selflessly. The recipient is as happy to receive it as you were to give it!

To fear the Lord is the beginning of knowledge but fear is not relating to cowering fear afraid but as a reference fear as respect of his awesome power. Electricians have this reference fear for electricity or they could not do there job. But we are to respect God's awesomeness not have paralyzing fear as a phobia type fear God bless
