A Poem by Jamestown

Simple game of tic-tac-toe among friends & Satan... Sin in Sincerity & Jamestown collaboration brothers in Christ Jesus for life...

Tic-Tac-Toe...

Two friends hanging out playing a simple game of
Tic-Tac-Toe discussing poetry, why we enjoy it and
what we plan to do with it,

Then approaches Satan and says " move over I'm playing "
Then it says " you 2 can't win, I'm the X's & the O's "
Jamestown replies " ha ha, what kind of evil gives out hugs & kisses "
Sin in Sincerity says " you are the coward we always knew you were"
Immediately drops 2 X's on his eyes and says " Good-Bye "

We read a scripture over it's fallen soul
and are wondering why he forgot God was on our side
before it tried bringing the pain, it must be insane to
step to 2 men that are ordained, we didn't need any circles
as we stand over his body that's now turning purple,

So needless to say the Devil losses again, buy now
one would think it understands God doesn't pretend,

Real recognizes real and will never play with the fake, that's
why Sin in Sincerity & Jamestown stay in Gods good grace
constantly laughing in this cowards face,

Lucifer and his demons approach everyday, but with God
leading the way these morons are not welcome to stay,

Tic-Tac-Toe loser time to go!!!

Ha ha ha you made me chuckle with this one Jamestown but if you read Job he was given the ability to create cause and effect in hopes Job would sin but God told him from the get go He couldn't harm him physically.He can bring us temptation but can not make us sin we do that by our own accord did you see my personal testimony in Song with meaning

I love this, JT! Apart from the lesson itself, I also like how you choose to tell it. There is a light heartedness and humorous touch to this parable

This made me laugh out loud: "Jamestown replies " ha ha, what kind of evil gives out hugs & kisses "". What a great image too, you confronting the devil with these words... :)

This is so appropriate near Easter! I like the narration of it and the powerful lessons. There is always strength in the Scriptures. The only way to subdue any evil.

i think of "the devil went down to georgia"

johnny played better fiddle because he had soul...the devil was flat and out of tune...

the x's and o's are in favor of those with heart and trust.

Superb story telling JT. Reminding me of that song about the devil and the guy playing poker for his soul. This is very imaginative. I wanna see a breakdance dance-off dude next. Cool write JT. :)
