I Will Fly

A Poem by Unique Expression
"

Inspired by an Enviison project that I supported in 2006. I had the privilege of working with an excellent group of young women at Burntwood School in London. The words of this poem came after I attended their final project. - A Recycled Fashion Show

"

Give me time, and I will fly,

Maybe not according to your timetable,

Maybe not according to your rules,

But I will fly...


Give me room, and I will expand,

Beyond your wildest dreams...

...that is if you had any for me,


Give me space, and I will move,

Beyond the boundaries of your mind,

And beyond the boundaries of mine,


Give me time, and I will, I must, fly.

Dude I like this. I think it's really effective how you put "fly" "move" and "expand" in large, bold font. It gives the poem that little extra push.

I really liked this! The format was really eye catching and unique, and I liked the way how you made part of the text bold. I liked the story behind this poem, and the fact that it carried such a deep meaning to you, because that really came through for me. I liked the feelings that your poem conveyed...every line seemed to rise and increase in strength and hope, which I really admired.

I liked the format of the poem a lot. The themes are admirable which I enjoyed. I feel that the piece seemed to be missing some aspect for me though. The thoughts seemed like they were the first ones that popped into your head and could of been more original.
