Sea of Faces

Sea of Faces

A Poem by JP142000

Time and time again I hear you call
I look to find no one there
I watch the clock and hear the tick
And yet I get no where
I stand in a room of many
Yet every face is you

The fear, pain, hurt, and trade was all I ever knew
Its all you ever taught me
Its all I knew to do

I played the role I asigned
Asigned to me by you
Then one day I forgot my lines and disappointed you

You left me there with no one
With nothing
With nothing but the truth
A truth I thought of night and day which took the place of you

Now im here at your request in this very crowded room
Sea of faces around me still
And all i see it you
