I see you react out of hatred and anger
Fall victim to fictional dangers
Don’t believe the paper
Now you’re fearing your neighbor
I see you detest an empathetic nature
You’re fearful that your masculinity wavers
Keep praising inaccurate saviors
You laugh at their safe zones, their havens and halos
You laugh in the face of an angel
Yet hang on a prayer...
