Memory

Memory

A Poem by simpleromantic

I look at the empty space,
My heart felt a sense of emptiness.
The day my heart melted,
You were by my side.

In such a sad story,
You’re a beautiful comfort to me.
Inside a cold story,
You are a warm place.

I cannot smile,
I’m caught in our memories.
The faded memories shine again,
Clouded in the forgotten past.

I hear your voice,
In a distant memory.
I see your face,
With a stained memories.

Stop, time is taking you away.
Stay, just the way you are.
If there is another world,
Let’s love again.

If loving you is a sin,
Then I’m your prisoner.
The promise we made,
Carved in our hearts.

Maybe we don’t have a perfect relationship.
But when we are together,
As beautiful as the sunset.
Because we were in love.

My love,
I remember the moment.
I turn my head coldly.
Must be hurtful.

Our hearts and lips say different things.
The words that we have thrown mindlessly.
Words that we can’t fetch back.
While they weren’t our honest feelings.

Even if the love ends,
The memories lingers.
I closed my eyes, on my tears.
I’m sending our memories.
