Wedding Day

Wedding Day

A Poem by simpleromantic

I remember it all.
I bent a beautiful flower.
Though quite lacking.
You chose to love me.

We were so in love.
The fact were young.
But through each other,
We grew into adults.

The scenery between us is fading in color.
My tears fall as I understand.
The saying, “you don’t know what you have until it’s gone”.
I really didn’t know before I lose you.

Those times you stayed by my side.
A corner of my heart starts to ache.
You don’t have to remember everything.
Just leave it as an unforgettable fragment.

When I call your name,
I’ll let go of the hand that I held.
As I say my goodbye to you,
It’s okay to choose him.

Don’t be sorry to me.
Don’t worry about me.
Don’t regret it.
If you do that my heart will burn up.

I’ll hope the promise of forever,
That you couldn’t have with me.
Wishing for your happiness.
I’m silently sending you to him.
