I like the uplifting & steady-love tone to your message. We would all love to be perceived this way, having an admirer & friend to stick by thru the best & worst of times. Sixth line -- 2x "give" (delete one?) The final line gives me the idea this might not be about a human, this Beatrice fits in the narrator's hands? So maybe it's a fur friend or even a dream lover!??! Nice way to intrigue.
