It's kinda weird the way you're describing something that seems agonizingly painful to the heart, yet the sound & pacing of your words have a bouncy & even playful attitude. It's like this guy doesn't mind being kicked around & in fact he might even be having fun with it. I guess everyone has a different threshold for painful romantic stuff! Anyhow, you are describing a common scene for some who are unlucky in love, yet you're doing it with much creativity & originality.
