Uncovered scars

Ever so visible

Turning into stars

Ever so curable

I was locked in

By the pain that was caused

A mortal sin

That eventually paused

Sadness, pain

No longer the case

And so I shall refrain

From that darkened place

To a new dawn

That shall awaken me

Every new morn

Will it happiness be
