Why I write

Just a poem, answering a question from a friend.

Why,You ask,
That’s ain’t even a question,
I write because life is beautiful,
Feeling shouldn’t be mask,
It ain’t about imagination,
Escaping my feelings is my only salvation,
Death isn’t,
and will never be my resignation,
Love is my inspiration,
The beauty of the spring my lyrics,
My paper,
The air that almost feels alive with the smell of roses,
The raining of the light,
My pen,
The essence of life,
See,
There isn’t a reason,
But millions why I write.
