Needless violence with a dash of sorrow

Needless violence with a dash of sorrow

A Poem by JetMardium

Needless Violence with a dash of sorrow
I followed you to the park
The air was cold the sky was dark
You did't see me behind the tree
Watched you walk, while my blade hung free
I crept up to your side
My blade begged your gut to be inside
Your muffled screams
My wildest dreams
Your body lifeless and still
You fail, you die, my will
Your infant in the stroller
Top of the hill, unlock the brakes and roll her
Cries echoing in the distance
This decision, made in haste, made in an instance
She rolled into the street
Stopped when a semi's bumper she did meet
Tires screeching, people screaming, in the distance sirens wailing
Critical condition, child's heart failing
Life is morbid
Death is gorgeous
The world is serene
Humanity unclean
