Don't Go

Don't Go

A Poem by Jewels
"

"The feeling of having someone you love leave you"

"

It hurts my heart to let you go

But I can't hold on any longer.

My mind and body have corrupted your happiness

That is what I know.

I never wanted this.

How can I never speak your name again

Or rid you from my mind?

How can I be happy

Knowing your not mine?

I never wanted this.

You promised me to be there always

Now you've up't and left.

How can I express the hurt I feel

In my abandonment?

I never wanted this.

To feel the warmth of your embrace

To feel your lips graze my skin

Would be like a touch of grace

But cocaine that I could not have again.

I never wanted this.

I know in my heart this is better

To let you go in peace.

But my body screams for you

As I sit and contemplate.

I never wanted this.

Just please don't go and sell your soul

I know whats on your mind.

I know you better then you think

Even though your surely, not mine.

I never wanted this.....

......I never wanted this

I never wanted this!

Interesting piece. I like how the last set of repetitions comes of like a frantic tantrum. Really sews it up well.
