Regret

Regret

A Poem by Jeyanthi

Only I stand,
in the embrace,
there is no other.
Alone!
Nothing comforts.
I closed my eyes
to find peace.
Every memories hold
the nameplate.
Hurt!
Drifts away,
Unintentionally
the sour mind swallows
burnt dream.
Pain!
But the cause,
Only hatred survives
in this hallow love.
Duo!

Super relatable. Makes the feeling come to life which is exciting even though regret isn't the most pleasant of emotions lol.

Yaaa true...
Love done hurt, also is the best days of our life. Regret is just reminders of what love can be. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Some times in our life every one find themselves alone and it hurt but its time to rethink about the moment. Well describing and provoking thought.
