Silver Hearts

Silver Hearts

A Poem by ElizaB

Let the rings fall;
Silver and slick
Into their palms,
The lovers...
Whose words scream
Eternity and light.
Isn't that life?
What soul deserves
To beat alone?
Out of reach,
Through fingers and toes.
Love searches;
Love is lost;
Love is hurt.
A heart of knives
Forced by another;
A stranger you loved.
Let the rings fall
Onto fingers.
Let forever begin
And the end start.
