Wind

Wind

A Poem by Jas Alejandrino Ramos

Wind that blows on your face,

That you feel when you are in haste

Gives freshness to every face

Sometimes redness to a face

A movement it gives to the flowers in bloom

But can make your house fly like a balloon

In every direction it moves

To every people it cools

Definitely short and sweet, an entertaining look at wind. You have a nice light hand and did not overblow the descriptions, admirable ability.
Here in the desert, we have Devil winds, sometimes in the summer they blow, hot as an oven's breath, they pick up dirt and sand and blow with enough force to "sandblast" your windshield to a light frost, plays hell with car paint, too.

I really like this. The descriptions of the wind are written beautifully, it blows and has the power to change your mood with its freshness, as you have said. Often we'd be too freaked out in our busy lives to ever notice these little things, and you have brought awareness to the beauty of nature here. Really nice topic to write about, this well written, and flowed like a gorgeous breeze.

Hahhahaha i actually saw this the other day before it was entered into my contest, I like it, it does flow smoothly, something different about it that makes it unique in a sense. I was tempted to comment then. Nice job, well written. In a way it feels like you caught the "essence of wind" if you will... simple witty, free flowing, and "airy".

A lot of people don't understand. The wind move through all places and touches all things. I like your description giving life and purpose to the wind. Thank you for the excellent poem.
