The Evolution of Love

The Evolution of Love

A Poem by Jen

A pair of eyes - of lips " plump firm breasts

Skin, weaved by hundreds of dedicated silks worms

Her face " finely crafted by genetics

Painted perfectly as the work of an artist on a canvas

A navel as flat as the world once believed to be

Her Hair " pin straight, sexy, seductive

Legs " descending as if never ending

Image upon visual contact

The heart rejoicing of instant love and gratification upon acceptance

She was to become the one

The only one, the ever changing one

Evolution of time

Season brought forth after season " with changing winds and tides

Evolution of the woman

Aging is of natural life and marches one closer to death

Forcing our relationships to adapt or to fall out

Her look evolved radiantly and finally tirelessly as each passing season

Draining the color of her hair and the elasticity of her skin

Her hair now worn as by traditional women of age

His love as profound as the day he met this women whom became the one

Such process of devotion is known as the evolution of love.
