Hell

Hell

A Poem by Stephanie Morford
"

My first attempt at an English sonnet

"
You string me out you always let me down,
I cannot be myself under your gaze;
The way you seem to love it when I frown,
You can see I am put into a daze.

I always hold back what I have to say,
What I can't understand is why you can't,
Simply keep your love throughout everyday;
But of course you will never hear my rant.

You love to embed me within that place,
Where I always fall and I cannot stand;
I wish my memories could just erase,
For all the love I put forth you stayed bland.

But I know I will find my peace within,
Because of where you will go for your sin.

I did enjoy this poem.
"But I know I will find my peace within,
Because of where you will go for your sin."
We need quiet and dangerous place to seek comfort. I liked the above lines. Thank you Stephanie for sharing the excellent poetry.
