Loving him and Truth and Justice

Loving him and Truth and Justice

A Poem by John F Carver

He knows the truth of every situation

This one and the one he volunteered to do

He makes an incredible number in elation

And in grave sorrow for his judgments of you.

The truth seems cruel most times but he will not lie

To spare your feelings or even help you take it

For without truth there can be no love I sigh

But the kind of love that's not love; you can't fake it.

Most days he knew with us was spent in hell

He knew he could die and the Father raise him from the dead

He had the truth to tell and he did it so well

Then he loved us for he thought of us all the way instead.

He lived in hell and he died in hell on earth

Protected by the truth he came to die

Knowing the Father loved him from his birth

And ever before as a God now our Savior we cry.

He led the enemy the entire way

Doing what he was prophesied to do

On a tight schedule to that final dying day

When he rose to save me the same as he did for you.

He is and was an example of what love is

And he taught me, yes even me, a love just like this.

If you want a lot of faith ask God to put the spirit of your flesh into a deep dreamless sleep until your body dies that only he can wake it from like I did. It is a good idea if you find you are not .. more..
