On my Rumored Demise

On my Rumored Demise

A Poem by John F Carver

I never felt the defibrillator paddles at all

I thought I had died and went to hell but he,

The Devil wasn't there to give me a call

I was never there I guess but just maybe

I should have been and my soul reborn in heaven

As I thought would happen after that prophecy came

I am pretty much recovered and have sat up and eaten

I came back then on my own with no one to blame

And began to write when I heard God's voice again

He changed his mind and allowed me not to die

I am forgiven and even a prophet then

If you can receive it; if not I can understand why

God is so good and we are so evil but hear me

When you fall he'll take you back if you ask; lovingly.

About
If you want a lot of faith ask God to put the spirit of your flesh into a deep dreamless sleep until your body dies that only he can wake it from like I did. It is a good idea if you find you are not .. more..
