Reality

Reality

A Poem by Fallen_1666

The skies are grey,
The world a blur
The line between
Real and fantasy
Slowly dissolves
Evermore each day.
As I lose hope
For any future
I thought I had.
Day after day,
Year after year
I think I meet the one
The one whom I may love
But it's false hope.
Deeper and deeper I fall
Into my fantasy.
The one full of love
Of life,
Of hope
Of dreams.
But alas, those dreams
will never come.
I know each time
I've fallen too far
as reality,
rears its ugly head.
No, I suppose I shall stay
In my fantasies.
Because
That is the only place
I can ever be truly
Happy...
