The Sailor:

The Sailor:

A Poem by Shadow
"

I wrote this about certian people that come into your life and consistantly treat you badly. You begin to think everyone new will do the same...

"
Are they all the same
Are we all insane
History repeats itsself again and again
Will the cycle ever end
Will the machine continue to spin
How can this be such a sin
How can i escape a prison that exists within
How can i not break the walls theyre so thin
The music to my ears
Sing loud enough for no one to hear
My thoughts regret my fears
And my heart knows the end is near
To live is to dissapear

Now im back on the same boat i was on
Sailing once more headed for too far gone
My destination is a morbid one
But were not sailing on a quiet pond
The ocean is vast just like we are
So easy to drown after youve come so far
So easy to fail im not quite up to par
To overthink nothing is so f*****g hard
