Breaking Point

Breaking Point

A Poem by Jong Schrijver
"

All the meaning is in the poem.

"
I try to push the anger aside.

But deep inside I have a breaking point.

It might not show when it should.

But I can feel it within me.

I'll refuse to let you bring me down.

But sometimes even the strongest willed,
Can't hold on to it all.

But with the help of friends I can stand tall.

Wow this so me, I let things build up inside until I lose it. This is one of the issues I’ve been working on and yes that one of the tools I’ve put to work, talking to friends before I blow a fuse. I like this piece short and to the point, great job, well done.

This is a very deep piece. I can relate to this; I feel like a bottle of Coke sometimes, all sealed up, but when someone shakes me up, I explode. It just goes to show that we all need to learn to keep our chins up through the hard times and let our loved ones give us a hand while geting through it. Well written, another job well done.

This is easily related to. The second line from the bottom is very much out of rhythm. You should think about adding more to that line.

This is a great poem. I was wondering when I could read your writing. You have a nice rhythm and the message is perfect. It's almost like you're a mellow person and you hide the side of you that can become angry. The rhyme scheme is good too.

Very good message being expressed. Everyone has their own breaking point and they can be broken down by an extent of anger...but yes, "with the help of friends I can stand all"
