A poem I made using the different names of the hues for blue on a paint sample.

Kiss me Kate

Before it’s too late

The feel of your hair

Is all I can bear

The bimini blue of the Bahamas ocean

Has nothing on your blue eyes in motion

Book in hand

A beauty in the sand

On this Idyllic Isle

We’re free from all that is vile

So stay with me on this safe harbor

And I’ll find myself a good barber

Our garden will have blue phlox

And maybe we’ll adopt a small fox

Let’s watch Battlestar Galactica together

And stay like this forever

In love and lost in each other
