At the risk of seeming sappy, I thought this up. Yeah...this is why I suck at free verse. :/

You are what makes me feel.

You're the Sun to the daisy.

You're the Moon to the sea shore.

You're the breeze to the ladybug.

You are my everything.

Author's Note

I'm not too confident in free verse. THis is a short poem...maybe when I can "find" the words, I will add more. Any and all feedback is welcome! :)

perhaps better than ladybug >>>>>>> breeze is to trees

I'll review this line by line...

1) Wondrously eloquent! Line of the poem for me! Such a powerful beginning!
2) Lovely imagery and very very tender...
3) Ravishingly romantic! Beauty incarnate
4) Startlingly unconventional...never heard that said before! :)
5) Simple and obvious, but heartfelt...Emotions too overwhelming for complex words.. :)

Short, sweet, effective...Still a little unsure about the ladybug bit though... Do they really love the breeze? :)
