Age of PersuasionA Chapter by Joshua RandallAge of Persuasion The ages have persuaded us to think otherwise. Another guilt-trip, more second degree lectures. As we sit in the classroom, we observe not lies; with that, what’s left- our words. We distort our abilities unto the point, release me. Together these ideas, now reminders proceed us. Proceed us into believing it’s ok, to revisit our supposed infliction's; to believe in them. To believe everything the textbooks tell us. Chilled, and with it’s solid finds notions. Bound memories, that are constant reminders. Who’s regrets, turned motions, motions, that have seen sidewinders. Could it mean we were never meant to keep. on stone, with ring, in heart, at kindness? Sex, every hug, every failed attempt; placed in memory, sealed in blindness. Now, there are those who said, ”You’ll never make it through, each other, your pasts, the stubbornness, his age..." Maybe they were right, right, but we grew, up to the last page. Onto two different worlds, into one same novel, where hopefully he'll remember me. So if we ever meet again, Would you help me redefine? What was, my friend, what’s left behind. Age of Persuasion Written By; Joshua Randall Session IV: Eventually © 2012 Joshua RandallReviews
