First Kiss

First Kiss

A Poem by Juan Santana

"Just lean in and kiss me"' i said raising my brow
"I would" she replied "I just do not know how"
"I'll lean in, you follow, we'll do this together
You'll love it, I promise, you'll kiss me forever"
"I want to, I do, with all of my heart,
Just lean in, you first, its better if you start"
"Okay" I said softly, I showed her my care
Our lips met so perfect, my hands through her hair
Both of our lips moved together in time
Everything so gentle, her tongue twisted with mine
Eternities passed and still we embraced
Then at last she pulled back, "See your fears have been faced"
Never have i felt emotions so true
I looked in her eyes and we said "I love you"
